Montana residents who pay the $9 state parks fee with their annual vehicle registration have no daily entrance fees to state park. For residents who do not include this in the their vehicle registration is required to pay the nonresident day use fee.
Nonresident visitors are required to have a park entrance pass to visit state parks. The daily entrance is $4 per person and is good for the day purchased at any state park.
